On Sunday, June 8, at 9:00 a.m., the 3rd Annual Sheriff’s Scholarship 5K (3 ½ mile) Run/Walk will take place. This event will benefit the students of Holy Saviour-St. John Fisher School. Mass will be celebrated on the site of the race (the “EssChem” Building on Columbia Ave.) at 8:00 a.m. Participation in this event ranges from being a sponsor to registering to run or walk. Our students will also be soliciting pledges for those who can’t sponsor or attend the event. Information can be obtained from the school (610-485-0363) or by contacting Nancy Dunham at 610-494-5175. Make plans to join in the fun! Run, walk, or stroll through the streets of Lower and Upper Chi with hundreds of your closest friends!

It’s Back! Holy Saviour-St. John Fisher Basket Bonanza!
On Saturday, April 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., we will hold our fifth Basket Bonanza in the auditorium. Admission is $5, and this fee entitles you to a sandwich, chips, drink, dessert, and a free chance on a basket. Additional tickets are available. Use these tickets to take chances on some or all of our fabulous baskets. The Basket Bonanza will benefit the School Window Fund. Twothirds of our windows have already been replaced. We plan to complete the project shortly. If possible, please help us out by supporting the Basket Bonanza. You can help by attending the event and/or donating a “theme basket” to be auctioned off. Popular theme baskets from years past include an Eagles basket, a wine and cheese basket, an Italian food basket, a movie lover’s basket, a teddy bear basket, and many more!

Casino Trip To Atlantic City’s Showboat Casino Sponsored by our Knights of Columbus, the trip will take place on Sunday, April 27th. The cost is $30 per adult with $20 in coin upon arrival in Atlantic City. Busses leave Holy Saviour at 9 a.m. and will return at approximately 6 p.m. Tickets are available after all Masses or by calling 610-485-9724. Father Chavez is a renowned speaker on family and men’s issues in particular. He has established an outreach to men in order to address the complex challenges and difficulties they often face in this present age. Father’s Knights of Columbus Outreach is designed to [re]enkindle their members with the vision, mission and spirit of Fr. Michael J.McGivney. Live Nativity

On Friday, December 14, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Holy Saviour Knights of Columbus Council 13710 will sponsor a Nativity Re-Enactment. This live depiction of Christ’s humble birth will be staged with live animals at the front lower / northern portion of the school grounds and will feature two presentations. The first performance will spotlight our parish youth as the cast from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and an adult cast will be featured in the 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. portrayal. The melodious tones of our own Holy Saviour Knights of Columbus Choir will culminate this event by providing accompanying seasonal music and hymns. Warm yourself with light refreshment and social conversation in the parish hall.

Sale. The same delicious varieties of Auntie Anne’s pretzels that you have
enjoyed at shopping outlets throughout the area are now available for you to
prepare and relish in your own home.
All orders must be prepaid and returned no later than April 19, 2007. You may
submit your prepaid order to any Women’s Club member or to the parish rectory.

Holy Saviour will hold a Life Line Screening for the community on
Friday, February 16, 2007, in the school hall. They will provide ultra
sound tests for strole/carotid artery screening, abdominal aortic
aneurysm screening, peripheral arterial disease screening. Identify you
risk for osteoporosis. Please look over the flyer which can be found in
the vestibule of the church and call the tool/free number to sign-up.

Paczkowy Bol: Holy Saviour Parish presents its second “Paczkowy
Bol” (a Polish Donut dance) on Saturday, February 17th 2007, 7:00
